Hosanna to the son of David!!!
Despite the war all the Christians and people of good will gathered in Bethphage to start the procession commemorating Jesus’ entrance in Jerusalem. At the end of the beautiful and participated procession, the Patriarch of Jerusalem delivered a message of comfort and encouragement to his flock reminding everybody that the world is not conquered by weapons but love: Christ conquers death with his death and resurrection.
He expressed his closeness to the brothers and sisters of Gaza and vibrantly appealed for the return of the pilgrims whose presence is of vital importance for the local Church of Jerusalem.
As we begin the final leg of our ascent towards Easter, let us keep our eyes, minds and hearts focused on God’s sacrifice for our salvation and continue to serve the Lord in our brothers and sisters, especially those who are the most in need.
