Advent / Avent / Avvento 2023
Today we begin our preparation to Christmas with the celebration of the 1st Sunday of Advent which is also the beginning of our liturgical year (B). Advent has a short and a long term horizon: we prepare ourselves to welcome Baby Jesus (Nativity) and we look forward to our encounter with Christ the judge coming at the end of times.
Let us therefore "WATCH" and "BE READY" to encounter the Lord coming in the vulnerable figure of a Baby and in the judge coming with splendour and might.
