Aid update
A sum of 500€ (from the fund of 3000€ initially directed to the church project in Atinzam, see blogspot post of 31/08/2023) was given to the Sisters of Mother Theresa as and aid for their sisters who take care of the handicapped children and are now trapped in Gaza with the children because of the war.
We mourn and pray for the victims of the explosion of yesterday night at the Al Ahli Anglican Episcopal hospital in Gaza.
We continue to count on your prayers and solidarity.

Prayers for the Holy Land
Today I was able to go to the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre for the first time since the beginning of the hostilities in our beloved Holy Land. I took a moment to pray for peace and for the victims. When going back home, I heard some explosions.
We continue to need your assistance and your prayers.

Prayers and solidarity for the Holy Land
On Saturday early morning (07/10/2024), we were dragged out of our beds by the multiple sounds of sirens in the city of Jerusalem and without even knowing what was happening, we looked for places of refuge. Only later on, we were informed that missiles were being shot from Gaza and an infiltration of some militants was ongoing. A state of emergency was declared, war was declared too and everybody had to reach a secure place for safety.
The tally of the victims of this attack and the retaliation which followed is growing up every hour and our hearts are bitter and full of sadness in front of so much violence.
Distressed by the current situation in the Holy Land but full of hope in our Lord who can transform death in life and sadness and pain in joy, we ask you, who have always assisted us and have visited this land in which our Lord's peace is needed today more than ever, to pray for us.
May the Lord appease the hearts of the parties in conflict, inspire a lasting solution and peace for the communities living in this territory and console and comfort all those who lost their loved ones.
